About DLKeur

I began doing digital art because I had to. Until I began to develop websites for myself and others, I only worked with real world art media -- sculpting in clay, stone, wood, metal, fabric, rope, cloth, paper mache...and painting and drawing with oil, acrylic, tempora, watercolor, graphic pen, pen and ink, graphite, pencil, color pencil, charcoal, chalk and charcoal.... But, then, way back when, because there weren't a lot of web graphics available, and those which were were limited in use, I began exploring digital graphics...and I've been doing them ever since.

I enjoy digital. I enjoy experimenting, even though, anymore, I don't get a lot of free time to do it. When I create, I enjoy just letting go like I do in real world media, seeing what comes out of my hand in the moment of free expression.

I am a zen artist. I let art happen. And, for me, it's meaningful in its own right, though others tend to give a kind of "Huh?" response when they see some...or a lot of it.

...And sometimes I do "whimsies." :D (That's the "fun stuff" with my own brand of humor liberally infusing it.)
