The feeling for my work falls somewhere
between the ancient forges of the Vulcans, the
whimsical art of Rube GoldBerg, the inventive arts of
Leonardo Da Vinci and what seems like "many
lifetimes" of experiences colourfully blended
into one.
My Studio is set up to work in several
different mediums with Steel and Hot
Glass being my favorites. |

Somewhere between the process of being
born, listening, looking,
learning.....absorbing...the what's it all
about....I have found many things to comment
upon. Life, I find, is in my reality, a series of
choices and situations that usually are connected to
theories and life experiments.
 |
A part of that has been the learning that
during each of our lifetimes is a series of Mythological
or Allegorical Experiences, further that
it is the presence or absence of these stories
that engender us to become the individuals that
we choose at any moment to become. |
 |
| Change the story and we
change along with the story. In my
world...artists are the story tellers and
life is the reference and each artist is in
the process of adding a chapter to the GRAND
GALLERY THAT IS LIFE. |

History has shown us that a
society in the past had as a part of it a
Mythology that seemed to fit...thoughts and
things, objects, that were related to the
peoples of that society in a more than
physical way. Stories were told that people
lived by and died by. History also has
demonstrated that when a society loses it's
mythology it ceases to exist. Are we close
to losing our mythology? |
So mine is a quest for a new Mythology.
In this quest I create objects that tell stories
or that can provide a basis for stories to be
told with or about.....in such a way that
provides new mythological thoughts....thereby
insuring survival as a society. Enjoy my work
then as it unfolds...Here is not a site to sell
...rather to share...Enjoy!
.....to be continued..
