ABOUT RANDALL KLOPPING

A few years ago, Randall was riding in the passenger seat of a truck. It was night, and the driver had the bad fortune to hit a piece of metal in the road. The tire blew out, the truck rolled, and Randall's seat belt tore out of the floor with the force of the impact. Randall was thrown through the windshield and ended up with the truck on top of him. His pelvis was broken into some forty pieces and his spine broken where it connects to the pelvis.

Almost completely disabled by this auto accident, computer tech Randall Klopping lost most of his mobility and is in constant pain, but refuses to cloud his mind with a morphine pump. Forced to lie abed except for very short periods of limited mobility, Randall was unable to continue his career. Instead, Randall turned to exploring the science of the cosmos, string theory, with art as his only available means of self-support.

Art is the only medium which allows him freedom to explore without need of a temporary freedom from pain while he explores the far reaches of potential possibilities using knowns, theory, and his own vision and imagination to conceive ever greater possibilities beyond infinity.

Even if you don't want to buy Randall's artwork, please consider a small donation to help him achieve a sustainable life. Randall is truly a starving artist whose extraordinary work deserves recognition and support. Right now, Randall desperately needs:

• 2 safety handles for his shower
• a new pair of sandals (size 12) -- "the type you just slide your foot in because at times I'm in too much pain to deal with buckles. Mine are so worn out the left one has a hole the size of a half dollar"
• An aluminum cane ("mine's about shot")
• "if someone were to have a used motherboard, cpu & memory laying around from an upgrade (pentium 3 at least) it would be nice to get my old system back up and running to use for the internet and make my gateway just for my artwork."
• Good beard trimmer or electric razor ("the cheap ones I can afford don't work worth crud").
• A pressure sensitive stylus & tablet (in case you don't know what this is: http://library.georgetown.edu/dept/gelardin/guides/graphicstablet/graphicstablet.htm )
• A new memory foam pad (thick one for twin size bed)
• A new memory foam pillow ("both pad & pillow I have are six years old and filled with dust mites")
• pocket t-shirts (XXL)
• shorts (only soft cloth type with elastic waistbands because jeans & shorts with solid waistbands irritate my spine) (XL)
• socks
• a good upright lightweight vacuum
• movies people might be tired of (science fiction, adventure, action) preferably DVD as my vcrs are all used for my security cameras.  "I'm one of the last ones to get to see the new movies out and and can't afford cable or satalite service"
• flat bed sheets (twin size) (fitted sheets don't work - makes the memory foam pad scrunch up) "I've got plenty of pillowcases."
